    I've searched the forums and can't find something simple enough to help (really not familiar with any code!).

    I want to add a small logo to the left of the blog title in the Twenty-Ten 1.4 Theme. I found a plug-in to create a child theme to modify. No idea how to modify it or where to go, though. I put the logo into the images folder.

    1. Buy a book on basic CSS.

    1. Take that logo image, shrink it 'till it's about 100px tall
    2. Re-upload it, taking note of the new url for it.
    3. Add this to the bottom of your style.css file in your child theme:

    #site-title a {
    padding: 30px 0 30px 100px;
    background: url(http://www.berrytanglefarm.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/berrysmall.jpg) no-repeat left top transparent;

    You'll have to adjust the url in that snippet to actually link to wherever the scaled-down version of the image ends up getting uploaded. And you'll have to play with the pixel values for "padding" to get things perfect.

    I'll put the book on the wish list. In the meantime, thanks for the resolution!

    For those in the figure, made the image 90 pixels and the padding 25.
