Add “index” taxonomies into sitemap

First thanks for this great plugin I’m using for years now!
I’m contacting you as I have a specific question that maybe could be an idea (or not) concerning the sitemap and following some meetings with my SEO expert.
Let me explain:
Actually, we removed the Tag pages from the sitemap as we set the option for the tag pages to “noindex” so there no reason for them to be part of the sitemap.
But, for some tags that I want to rank in the Google SERP, I’ve set manually through the Yoast option “Meta Robots Index” these tags to Index.
As they are now set to “index”, is there a way to include those specific tags into the sitemap? Is this something that could be added as an option?
