    Hi all

How can I add images from flickr to a page?

I copied the short html code from flickr and pasted it on my page,
but that just give me a thumbnail of the flickr image. If I click on the thumbnail it takes me to flickr and shows the bigger image.

How can I add the bigger image directly onto my page?

  • From flickr:
The HTML code to embed a photo in a web page that you used to find on the All Sizes page is in the Share menu on the photo, to the left of the More menu.

You might have to look for the code that links to a different size.

OK thanks I got that, but now the image doesnt resize when I change browser window size or look on mobile?

Why is the image not responsive like the rest of the stuff in the theme?

    Hi medvp3d

You can add your flickr images another way and this actually makes then embedded posts in your blog that work with the theme. The copy and pasting of the html will override the themes styles.

Go to the share this via… and then click on the more ways to share and you’ll see the WordPress logo there. click on the logo. Enter your blog address along with your username and password and click save me and you will then be asked what to call the post and what to put in the description. And boom it is posted to your site. The next time you want to add an image you can click the larger WordPress logo. See this Screenshot.

I tried this on one of my own test blogs and it completely worked if that’s what your looking for.
