Which template(s)? Which theme? What WP version?
standard template, default theme, 1.5
What do you call standard template? The “Main”, a.k.a. index.php? And where would you like your picture? Top? Bottom? Sidebar? Footer?
Whatever template is provided with a standard installation of WordPress 1.5. I have not made any changes to template or theme.

The reason I “dared” to ask all these questions because in the default theme there are about 13 templates 🙂
Re: image. Open the wp-content/themes/default/sidebar.php file, find the call for the search box, and put your code there for the pic.
What would the code be to add an image? Is there a tutorial on this?
