Ok I’m apologizing up front if there has been a similar post BUT the posts I have seen are all older and not as relevant so I’m going to ask anyway 😉

I need help with adding the Google Adwards Tracking Conversion Code / Script to one page…my Contact page; it is supposed to go right before the closing </body> tag. Some folks say it needs to go on the thank you form after the contact form is submitted but I really only need it to go to the Contact page.

I’m using a Genesis based child theme…I cannot figure this out! I tried just inserting it into the text editor but the Google TAg Assist Tool tells me this is not the correct spot even tho it is within the body tag…

Any help would be super, I really need to get this figured out

    Is this the same question?

Also, you are using a commercial theme, so StudioPress would be the best ones to help if it involves modifying any theme files…

    Or use a plugin:

Yes, it is a similar question and that’s why I was apologizing up front, but I wasn’t asking about the ‘body onload’ specifically at first like the other question, and nothing was working so I tried to make a new thread. I’m sorry, just needed some help …

That post you are referring to is dealing with a Google Trackable (call tracking ) phone number my post is specifically about adding the Google Adwards Conversion Script which i’m sure is a different situation…so actually I should have never even asked my qestion at all on that other post I should have started this new thread all along, that was my mistake but I still am looking for answers for my situation; sorry about that!

Also I did ask StudioPress and nobody has answered me yet at all there, and I need to get it going asap.

** I was really hoping to do it without a Plugin esp since none of the plugins I found are compatible with the latest version of WordPress we are using 🙁
unless you know about one that I can’t find maybe.

    Thank you!

True, you should not have posted in someone else’s thread.

the latest version of WordPress we are using 🙁

What version of WP are you using?

This plugin looks quite current –
