[Resolved] add formatting of new line in HTML editor?

Can AddQT add formatting of a new line in the HTML editor as part of a quicktag?

Example: I want a paragraph quicktag, opening with <p> and closing with </p> plus formatting of a new line in the HTML editor. It seems to me that, in the past when modifying quicktags.js, I used ‘\n’.

But I can’t seem to put anything into the closing tag of AddQT to get this formatting result. Can this be done? Thanks.

On default filter WordPress the content and set br and p new. If you will add the p-Tag then it is important, that you deactivate the filter. But I think is not the best solution. It is better, that you add a custom tag, like span or hr for a whitspace part inside your content. This can you via AddQuicktag plugin and format the tag via css. The other way, the best part I think, is that you format the p-Tag of content with more space for the frontend.
