    Hello..

    I need some help in adding a rule to drop down.

    Is it possible to have two drop down fields where to add rule in first drop down field, only to show certain drop down fields in second drop down…

    for example… uni have main study fields like automotive and hospitality. further there are list courses under each study field like certificate 1, 2, 3 ,4 etc… say in the first drop down if automotive is selected then the second drop down only shows certificate 1,2,3 in automotive.

    Looks like you are looking for Conditional Logic which is not available directly in the Contact Form 7 plugin.

    This sort of conditional logic is not available directly in Contact Form 7. It can be done via custom programing but you would need to be rather skilled at WordPress development using PHP and/or jQuery.

    Some of the premium Form plugins do offer some Conditional Logic including Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms.
