Hi @ebusinesstutor ,
You can convert your Blog Posts(posts
) to BetterDocs(docs
) by using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/
I hope it helps! 😉
I added a plugin to also create a copy of the post so I wouldn’t lose the original. The plugin you suggested worked fine, but the formatting has issues – see screenshot here:

You can see the original article here:

Is there a way to copy this over and have the formatting work better?
Hi @ebusinesstutor ,
I’ve just checked and inspected your original post. It seems your original blog post was made with 3rd party builder plugin (I guess Divi Builder). So when you moved the post from posts
to docs
, it simply didn’t populate with that builder structure hence this formatting issue happened.
You can check if there is a way to enable the docs
post type from your builder plugin first and then try again. This article may help you to enable Custom Post Type (docs) from your builder plugin: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/theme-releases/divi-custom-post-types
After enabling this, you may need to start the process from the beginning. I hope it helps. If this doesn’t work, then you can contact with Post Type Switcher and ask them if they have support to move the post that made with 3rd party builder plugins.
Thank you and have a good day!
