I’ve collected a bunch of emails through Vertical Response opt-in on my previous html website. I now want to import these into my WP site for automatic notification of new posts. Is there a way to import these via a CSV file?

    Thank you!

Jetpack doesn’t allow you to import subscribers from a third-party service at the moment.

To make it easy for your existing subscribers to subscribe again using Jetpack Subscriptions, I would suggest the following:

    1. Create a new Page on your site, named “Subscribe”
    2. Insert the following shortcode in the page content:

      [jetpack_subscription_form]

    3. Send a link to that page to all your subscribers, to allow them to subscribe using Jetpack Subscriptions.

    Thanks Jeremy, very helpful.

    Ditto: Thanks Jeremy, great idea.

Nevertheless, WordPress core developers track peeps – come on, this functionality needs to be added to WordPress already – let’s not wait until 4.0 to put this in JetPack.
