I would like to add an email and telephone number to the top right header in a salient theme, any help would be great?

Try this:
PHONE NUMBER
Add a (custom) link with a URL of sms://xxxxxxxxxx (with the x’s being the phone number). And the link text would be your phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx).
EMAIL
Add a (custom) link with a URL of mailto:xxxxx@xxxxx.com (with the x’s being the email address). And the link text would be your email address (xxxx@xxxx.com)
By the way – you do this in Appearance > Menus. You have to make a new menu and check the Secondary Navigation Menu box below after you create the menu.
Thank you so much Casey this worked perfectly. I’m also trying to add a text widget that contains my contact details in the footer. I feel like i’ve done everything right as I have the other footers, however it doesn’t show once i come out of it. Any ideas?

I see your contact info in the right side of the footer – are you looking to do something differently?
Its really strange because at times I can see it, but again I just checked and even though I seem to have done everything right in terms of the widgets it isn’t showing for me on my laptop nor my partners. Is there a way I can delete all the footers and add them again? What do you think?

You could try getting rid of the footer widgets and re-entering them, but that would be a manual process. Good luck!

shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes… just go into Appearance > Widgets and redo the footer ones
