    Hi,

is there a possibility to add the DHL Tracking Number (Generated with ”
DHL for WooCommerce” and shown in the “order details” column) to the “CUSTOMER COMPLETED ORDER” mail?

  • Hey @hannibal88,
For most shipping tracking plugins you can use the placeholder [PAYMENT_INSTRUCTIONS] which calls the right hook to also show the tracking information:
    I’ve also described this
    in the documentation.

    Hi,

when I paste the [PAYMENT_INSTRUCTIONS] placeholder, nothing is shown. Others placeholders are working/showing data but not this one.

These information just appear when you actually add a tracking number to the order.
Did you try to send an email or just checked the preview?

I sent a test email but there was no data shown.

But I also recognized that the [PAYMENT_INSTRUCTIONS] placeholder seems to take effect on some mails. Right now I would say that only If the customers uses “direct bank transfer” and no “instant payment method” the [PAYMENT_INSTRUCTIONS] hook is called and my bank information is shown in the email. However, there is only shown the bank information and no tracking/shipping number.

    Sorry @hannibal88.
most tracking plugins use this hook. I just checked the source code of the DHL plugin and it inserts the tracking information below the products table and only in the order-completed email.
Can you please check this and give me some feedback?

I added the product table (if that was your advice) to the “order-completed” mail like it’s shown in the “order-confirmation”.
But no tracking number is shown. I also sent a test e-mail and not just checked the preview.
