    Hi there,

There’s a piece of information about each fixture that we’d like to show in a fixture list (using the Event Blocks template inserted via shortcode). Just a few words and possibly a link. We can’t repurpose any of the existing fields to show it.

Would it be possible to use ACF to add a field to the fixture post type and then add it to the Event Blocks so it displays in each fixture in the list?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out.

You’d need to edit the template files in order to add these custom fields into the event blocks.

The easiest way to do this is to copy the file from wp-content\plugins\sportspress\templates\event-blocks.php

Then paste it into your theme’s (or child theme’s) folder under the /sportspress folder.

And you can make changes to that file which are reflected in the event blocks directly.

If they aren’t, please make sure your theme is SportsPress-compatible:

    THanks!
