    Hi,

I am using a plugin to add custom checkout fields to woocommerce check out page called “WooCommerce Checkout field editor”

I added a required field to the checkout called “Employment/Assignment Number” with the field name “Employment_Assignment_Number”

The field is working nicely but it is not saving the data from the custom field to the order details under wordpress admin – orders

What function i should add to get the field to save the data from the custom field for each order under each order info in order details under wp admin.

    Thanks for your help

Are you looking in the ‘custom fields’ meta box for the posted value? Should be on the edit order page somewhere, not the order details box.

Best post on support.woothemes.com anyway – this forum is for woocommerce core, not addons.

    Hello Mike,
The data is not showing anywhere on the admin side since the latest update. I have listed a ticket at woothemes but no response yet.
    Thanks for your help.

Someone should get back to you early next week. If you post your ticket # I can chase it.

Thank you so much Mike I am pulling my hair out. I have 2 tickets waiting since the upgrade. Ticket #324226 and ticket 325021 which is a fatal error to do with the xero plugin

deliciousbuds your tickets will be answered. Please stop hihacking over users threads – its against the forum rules.

Im sorry Mike I didn’t realise I was doing something wrong.
Especially since I have no idea what hihacking is?
Just trying to get some help.

@deliciousbuds Just post your own threads where possible instead of asking for help in other user’s threads 🙂
