Add CSS class to trigger lightbox (2 posts)

This awesome plugin should have a setting to add CSS classes to trigger the lightbox.

This would give the ability to display almost any theme or plugin media element without need of changing themes and plugins core code to make them all have the same rel value.

When there are several sources of media, most likely there will be several lightbox scripts and several rel denominations.

With CSS classes we can target them all and then dequeue their JS lightbox scripts at theme's functions.php and have only one working sitewide lightbox without hacking any source code.

    You're perfectly right Miguel,

But not all the script in RL would handle that (at least without modifying it's core files). Same goes to using data-rel instead of rel.

Myabe we'll develop a solution for this in the future, but it's impossible for now if we want to make all scripts working with a click of a button.
