add “company” profile as plugin author/contributor on wp.org?

    I want that under the plugin contributors, there was listed the company name (and other contributors -individuals).
    however, at this moment, only individuals can be listed.
    What to do to be the “Company Name” as the main contributor – should we do a “trick” – create a wp.org default user profile, but name is as “CompanyName” and assign it as the plugin contributor?

    We generally DISCOURAGE this.

    1. People like to talk to people, not generic accounts
    2. If you make a company account, we will expect ALL plugin submissions to come from that account forever more.

    And really why? It doesn’t help your SEO or anything. If your plugin author name is your company, that covers what most people need.
