Have: Non Child Page Supporting Theme
Want: Hover Drop Down Boxes
Don’t: Don’t Want Widgets or Links
Can: Can Code Competantly and Have Dummy Install On Sub-Domain
I have the site Revenant Wings and we have a custom theme based off Pixel. However it does not support child pages and i would very much like to correct this.
I am writing a general support section and will enlarge it every-time an issue arises for one of our members. This has the potential to get very large, very fast.
Drop down menus, compartmentalizing the support section into child pages is the obvious answer, however our theme does not support it, yet.
I have spent the last hour cruising the web and forums here looking for guides on how to do this http://wpguru.co.za/navigation/make-your-own-wordpress-drop-down-menu/> This is the closest i could find. However im not sure if this is exactly what i want.
Can someone please take the time to help me figure out what we need to do. My CSS guy is fairly competency and we have the luxury of a sub domain with an identical “practice” install of wordpress to play on. We’re happy to do it ourself, but don’t really know where to start.
