Hi, karanjhanwer.
Thank you for contacting us.
If I’ve got you correctly, you’d like something like this:
.container {
background-color: #9999d7;
}
.logo {
background-color: #fff;
}
Please let me know if it helps.
Kind regards.
I would like the color above the menu bar to be one and below the menu bar to be one. Currently the color behind the logo and the color on the strip containing the social icons are different. I want them to be one.
Haven’t we been down that path before? 🙂

Kind regards.
I am so sorry, completely forgot that this issue had been resolved. Is it possible to upload any image in the background instead of a color in the container region?
@karanjhanwer You sure can – go to Appearance > Customize > Background Image and upload the image you want to set as the background image. Our demo at http://demo.lyrathemes.com/kale/ is also using a background image.
I already tired that. but if you look at the website, the image only appears on the edges and not behind where the container is.
@karanjhanwer Please make sure you’re selecting the right options after uploading your image – more details here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-a-background-image-in-wordpress/
Well, I have tried all the options but the image is visible only at the edges and not behind the area where the featured posts are mentioned. Kindly find attached the link to the screenshot.

Hi @karanjhanwer,
You can remove the white background with this css:
body.custom-background .main-wrapper {
background-color: transparent;
}
.container {
background-color: transparent;
}
but please note that your text will not be visible.
Kind regards
