• One of the features that (I believe) I suggested and then you implemented, way back in the day, was the ability to select which pages/posts would show their attached files. That was all the functionality we needed for one of our sites.

As Auto Attachments grew and changed, that was all we ever used of it. Now that this little plugin replaces it, but we still need control over which pages/posts it displays on. For our purposes, we’d like it to default to “off” then be able to turn it on for certain pages/posts/post typese/etc.

Could you please add that back?

    Tevya,

Thank you for your feedback. That ability for Auto-Files is in my schedule. I will make a metabox about this. Give me one week please.

Can’t you just add back the code from the old plugin that allowed this? You added it to the old plugin, at my suggestion (perhaps others were suggesting it as well) fairly early-on in the original. It’s really needed because we don’t want to show the icons at the bottom of every page. Just a few pages that have a lot of PDF’s attached.

Tevya there is a problem about that. plugin can read old options from Auto Attachments. But if you remove plugin (Auto Attachments) form your site, plugin removes your options also.

I see you added this option in the latest update (at least that’s what I understood from the changelog, haven’t tried it yet)! Thank you so much.
