# Add Audio Button Without Script

 * Hi! I would like to add a button (image) to click on a page to play a single,
   short MP3 audio file. I was wondering if I can somehow use an embedded script(
   by default) in WP or if I have to add a specific script to make it work? Thanks
   for your help!

 * Hi corrinarusso, thanks for your reply but it’s what I’m looking for. I only 
   want to play an audio file (audio.mp3) directly from the homepage and I don’t
   want to add another script in the header (like this one [https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/tryit.asp?filename=tryjsref_audio_play](https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/tryit.asp?filename=tryjsref_audio_play))
   if it’s not necessary.
