    Hello Geodirectory team,

I’m still using your plugin both free and paid for almost all my projects, thank you it’s still the best.

1- For now, is there a way that I can add a new taxonomy to a post type. By default every new geo-post-type has 1 tag and 1 category and I want to add another 1.
I know that I can use custom fields instead, but I want it as “a tag or a category”, and the reason is because Wpbakery recognizes only tags and categories, so I use WpBakery to show listings, and filtering them since Geodirectory doesn’t have “load more pagniation” and in page filtring.

2- Will you add “load more” and in page filtering?

    Thank you again.

    Hi @sam3000us,

    1. You can technically do this via code with but for scaling in a large directory I would not recommend it.

Even though we use the standard tag & category system in GD, we still copy all the options to our own tables for speed and scalability.

    2. load more, you should be able to use any of the load more plugins with GD.
2.1 We have very advanced, advanced search addon for filtering (and its in the plans to make this work via AJAX).

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hello Stiofan,
I just did it by using Custom Post Type plugin and it worked just fine, but depending on your advice I guess I will roll back :\
and yes I already use the advanced search addon but providing the AJAX search and filtering will be a distinctive addition.

    Thank you!.
