Add Animation to Additional Menus

I’ve added a menu to my theme, and everything styles correctly, however I’m unable to add the js animation that exists for #top-menu to any additional menus.

I created a second .js script based on the original custom.js, which allowed me to make the mobile nav menu functional for my second menu, but I’m at a loss as to how to create the menu animation for my second menu.

Any help would be much appreciated!
