  • Have to do it with a function in functions.php to add the element to “footer” … or, you can try editing the template, or make child template per the docs. I think you create amp folder in your theme folder, then put duplicate of the amp template in there with your added element where you want it ….

    trial and error — my solution kept giving me validation errors, but worked; so still sorting that out over here.

    No easy answer — but seems like there should be.
