    Hello,

I am struggling to add a new font to my website. After the installation of the font in the fonts folder, I do not know what to write into style.css directiory to get the job done.

I have checked the start guide but did not manage to find a solution. Thus, I would be grateful if can get some hints.

    Thanks,
    Hristo

You can check the functions.php of the child theme example:

2.1 – Tip01 – Properly include additional CSS and JavaScript files via functions.php.

But if it is too difficult, there are many plugins that can handle new fonts from google, etc.

    Hi Tomas,

After installing a plugin and added a new font, I assigned basically everything to that font (headlines, paragraphs, etc.). However I did not like how it looks like and removed the plugin.

Now, the default font is Times New Roman or something like that. Any idea how I can return Open Sans as a default font without re-installing the whole theme?

    Regards,
    Hristo

If plugin was uninstalled, I suspect you or your host is using some kind of caching plugin/solution, so you have to flush the WP cache, or even your browser’s cache with CTRL+F5.
