Add a Comment Box Won't Appear on One Page only

    I’ve searched the forum but they all speak of all Comments disappearing instances.

    I only have one Page that is affected. I posted it just recently but the Add a Comment box section appears to be disabled. It doesn’t appear at the end of the article like it automatically does for all other Pages and Posts on the website.

    I’ve not changed any settings, only updated WordPress to 4.4.1. I deleted the Page then created it again, still no luck. I can’t figure it out. Help!.

    RESOLVED: From the dashboard go to Edit Page > Screen Options and make sure ‘Discussion’ is checked (not just ‘Comments’). Then go to bottom of Page in Discussion box and check ‘Allow comments’.

    It seems in prior versions of WP, these attributes were selected by default. It only became an issue after posting a new Page after the upgrade to 4.4.1.
