Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Cart Stock Reducer » Add a class to unsold products still in cart

  • Hello,

I’m wondering if there’s a way to alter the classes of a product on the shop page when it has been added to a cart, but technically hasn’t been purchased yet.

E.g. as soon as I add a product to the cart when Stock Reducer is active, the classes applied to the product are exactly the same as those of a sold product. Is there any way to perhaps add an additional class to a product that is still pending sale? Then I can target/style these products accordingly, without impacting the appearance of genuinely unavailable sold products.

Reasoning behind this is that if a number of products display as sold/out of stock when people simply have them sitting in their carts, then some customers may not hang around to see if the products become available again (this happened with a client’s site – there was high demand for the products so everything said ‘sold’ within one minute as they were all sitting in carts, but some did eventually go back on sale when customers let their 10 minutes lapse).

Thanks so much for this plugin, James – it has been very handy.
