 * I use Slide Anything to build navigation submenu for certain web pages. I used
CSS and HTML events onmouseover/onmouseout to force “active” slide (with URL
of the opened page) to be in a different color and style.
    To make “active” slide
focused (be the first to show) on smartphones in portrait mode (as adaptively
only one slide is visible), I made separate sliders for each page with individual
slide order (active slide is always first to the left). I’d like to make use
of more elegant and simple solution to make it possible without such hack. Is
it possible in any way (CSS, JS or else) to “force scroll” the slider carousel
so that the desired slide is always first to the left (=”active” in my case)?

 * I think what you are talking about could be accomplished using the URL Hash Navigation
feature built into Owl Carousel 2:
 * This wont be hard for me to implement within SA, and you could then create links
like site_url#slide4. Someone else has requested this feature as well.
 * I’m looking at adding this feature into the next batch of changes for SA, after
the dust settles on the 2.0 release…

 * Hi, I’ve now added ‘URL Hash Navigation’ to Slide Anything – version 2.0.6.

See here to see how it works: [https://owlcarousel2.github.io/OwlCarousel2/demos/urlhashnav.html](https://owlcarousel2.github.io/OwlCarousel2/demos/urlhashnav.html)
This allows you to create links to specific slides within your slider.
 * To get the link for each slide, look under the ‘Slide Link’ tab when editing
   your slider:

 * Thanks for the update!
Well I can not see any description text with link like“#
example_slider_slide01” for my slides. I have v2.0.8 and below “Link Target”
dropdown menu I have buttons Delete, Duplicate, Move.

 * Yes – I have to take out ‘URL Hash Navigation’ – it was causing issues – see:

   [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/slider-id-appears-on-address-bar-url-after-update/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/slider-id-appears-on-address-bar-url-after-update/)
 * It was changing the URL every time it was being used or the slide changed – to
   something like:
    URL#slider_123_slide01 URL#slider_123_slide01 etc
