# Adapting the search function

 * I would like to adapt the search function I’m using to only search the blog (
   including archive) and not the other pages or catagories.
 * How do I ask the search function not to look in other catagories or just to look
   in the blog section ?
 * Any ideas …

 * I’d like to bump this as I have still not found a solution.. perhaps I should
   elaberate ..
 * I want to search feature to return only certain results..
 * At present it returns results from other pages which are laid out differently
   with a different back ground ie: the side bar removed and the whole space used
   for graphics and text..
 * Perhaps the simplesolution would be to add some php that strips images ? and 
   layout and only shows text !!!
 * Or some way that search does not search that particular category ..
 * Any ideas
