  • I know its kinda boring, not many changes, but trust me it took many many alterations back and forth to get to this.
It’s conservative (thats why hv_blog appealed in the first place) but I am happy with it. Its true, whats said about wordpress. I installed it last night and really started fiddling in earnest around 6am, its 5pm now, and I pretty much had that style done by 2pm, after trying and modifying three others. I could not have achieved that with any other script, IMO.
I was a dedicated Pivot user, but am now a convert to WordPress (sorry, pivot guys).
    oh..yeah.. a URL

  • I like your site. One weird thing happened when I clicked the refresh button. There apeared what looks to be part of some text right below your header and before where your blog starts.
I am viewing it is IE 6. But other than that nice job 🙂

i know what you are talking about, Zonnah, its an sql error message and seems to randomly display. I get it too, sometimes, and then when i try to look more closely, its gone on the next refresh. Beats me.

Thanks for your kind words 🙂

Thanks, podz, thats not the problem. it happened after I activated a plugin (not one of the default installs). I got quite a few errors with that which were beyond my ken to fix (I’m thinking that could be a 1.2 vs 1.5 situation), so I simply deactivated. It seems that the sql error which was showing up in back of the header may have just been an artifact of that, I havent had it for a couple of days now.
