• Hi Support,

    I hope you are well.

    I am having an issue adding new images to the AD widget sections. I have sized them to the required size, but when added, they upload and appear in the settings but only show a white section on the page.

    I have tried all areas and sized sections; they appear to upload but will not display.

    If I delete the AD widget section and replace it with an image in the same section, it works fine, but the AD widget won’t show any image you try to put there, even the image it currently displays.

    I have looked at the HTML, and everything should work, but I wonder if there is a conflict between the Gutenberg Blocks and Magazine Blocks.

    All help is appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    osm0sis

    Hi @osm0sis

    Can you share the link to your site so that we can inspect it and debug the issue you’re referring to?

    Also, screenshots marking the issue would also help.

    Sincerely,

    Ashish S. – WPBlockArt Team.

    Hi @wpblockart

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I am referring to the AD sections that are already in place upon importing the theme and plugin. You will notice on the home page that I have placed an AD image below an actual AD section and replaced an AD section with an AD image on the same page. link here → https://goknowmad.com/

    For whatever reason, I cannot place any new images in the standard AD sections using the AD widget or create any new sections that work with the AD widget. The images upload but will not place in the AD section, and once the original image has been removed, you can’t replace it, even with the original image that was there.

    This issue is present on all posts and pages.

    All help is appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    @osm0sis

    It seems you’re using Layout 2 of the Primary Header. Layout 2 is supposed to have a menu bar containing a drawer toggle, logo, menu, and header actions like search and other blocks.

    MagazineX uses a sidebar to add blocks in the header. There is a sidebar called Header Sidebar from where we add an Ad widget to show an Advertisement image in the header. As you already know, you can edit it from Customizer > Widgets > Header Sidebar. And, Header Sidebar is available in Layout 1 only.

    MagazineX WordPress Theme: Header Sidebar

    If you want to show Ad in the header just like our demo: https://themedemos.net/magazinex/, you can simply change the Layout to Layout 1 from Customizer > Header > Primary Header > Layout

    I hope this helps. Let me know otherwise. 🙂

    Sincerely,

    Ashish S. – WPBlockArt Team.

    Hi @wpblockart

    Thanks for following up.

    I don’t have an issue with no AD in the header; the problem is in areas with an AD widget section on the page.

    I cannot change any images from the original image placed in those AD widget sections in the right and left sidebar and the footer AD widget areas. The images upload but will not be placed in the areas; even the image used to show the AD widget areas cannot be placed back if removed.

    On the home page, you will see an AD widget section on the right sidebar; I can add a URL that works but cannot change the image. You will see I have placed an image below the AD widget on the right sidebar, but that is just using the image block; the AD widget doesn’t place any images.

    I can add an image in those sections and a link to that like I have, but the AD widget gives you a few different options, as you would be aware, like the nofollow link option.

    There might be an issue with what the size of those sections defaults to; even though you may select the right size for the image, if the AD block defaults to 0px vertically, it doesn’t display the image. Could this be the issue?

    Thanks again.

    @osm0sis

    The problem was in the Advertisement block from our plugin called Magazine Blocks.
