Ad on right side of header?

Hello wonderful coders out there!
Since the title/tag of the site is small and left-aligned, is there a way to add a widget up there, right-aligned? I hate all that blank space.
And if not, how can I increase the size of my site’s title/tag? “Theme Options” can’t change the header text, right?
