    Hello,

Something odd began happening this evening after I changed the position of an in-house ad using the Ad Inserter settings.

All I did was change the paragraph number where the ad should be visible. Then I clicked on “save all settings.”

And now Ad Inserter no longer saves *any* html code. A simple image (jpg) with an url (href), when saved, becomes… blank. In every ad block.

There were five ad blocks with the same code. They’re all blank now. (Curiously, I can see the ad just fine in the preview. It’s only when I click on “save all settings” that the code disappears.)

If I add text (“ABC”) to the html code, *only* the text is saved – which *can* be seen on the site’s posts.

So, Ad Inserter *is* working. It’s just refusing to save the html code.

We’ve been using this plugin for quite some time. This has never happened before. It’s really mystifying. Could I have clicked on some other setting inadvertently?

A mere couple of days ago, I made several changes – paragraph positions; added different tags to the “count paragraphs with tags” list – without a single glitch or mishap.

Any idea as to what I need to do to get this fixed so Ad Inserter will once again save html codes?

Note: I’ve deleted the plugin and downloaded/reactivated it. The problem persists.

Any assistance would be *much* appreciated.

    Clarification:

When I say the html disappears after it’s saved, I’m referring to the Ad Inserter settings page.

The window where the code is inserted goes totally black (“blank”) after saving.

It seems that something is preventing the code to be saved.
Maybe some security plugin or security setting on the server.

I would suggest first to try to disable other plugins to see if some of them causes issues.

Sorry for the (double) post in this forum.

I should have looked into this issue in a more efficient manner.

Spent a couple of hours last night looking into the matter, but I forgot to deactivate one plugin that I used/activated yesterday, “Move Comments.”

    That was the culprit.

Apologies and thanks for the quick reply and for the great plugin.
