ad group doesnt work

    Hi,
    I want to setup an ad group on my page by using the shortcode [the_ad_group id=“123“]. Unfortunately it shows the shortcode instead of the ads. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Howard,

    thanks for reaching out.

    Since shortcodes are a WordPress-core thing, there are only general causes I can think of:

    1. Advanced Ads is not enabled anymore. Probably unlikely
    2. You are placing the shortcode in a widget or other field that doesn’t support them. This is often the case with options provided by themes. It if is a widget, then maybe this article helps.
    3. The content is not loaded using the the_content filter. That needs an experienced WP developer or the theme developer to check it.
