# ad code showing as text

 * I placed a google ad code but it shows as text. i am not familiar much with blocks
   since it has been a while i used wordpress but i went into block and then clicked
   on paragraph option – i think this is how we place text right ? – and then i 
   chose code option and pasted the code. but it shows as text so i removed it. 
   how can i fix this so it doesnt show as text but function as ad code?

 * Yes, this is where we place **_text_**. But but code is not text 😀
 * Put your AdSense code in a **CUSTOM HTML** block.
 * You may also consider using a plugin to automatically insert the AdSense code
   into various areas on your site, rather than inserting the code manually into

 * ok code is not text, yes )))))
 * well now i did it but it doesnt appear on firefox but on chrome it appears as
   a blank space and not on the actual widget place – totally confused

 * If the code appears in the post’s HTML, then everything is OK from WordPress 
   and your site’s end. The rest is up to Google (and your AdSense account settings).
 * If you could provide a link to the post, I could check it at my end for you.
