I am wondering if there is a relatively easy mechanism for adding a bit of content (a clickable ad banner, in my case) that would appear at the very top of the main content of the post in the RSS feed only.
At the moment, I’ve got ads in my feed from Google’s FeedBurner service, which show the usual rotating AdSense banners. However, I have an advertiser who’s interested in getting that spot exclusively for a week. My plan would be to turn off the FeedBurner ads for the week and just tweak whatever code generates the RSS feed to insert the ad banner and link from my advertiser at the top of each post. But I really have no idea where such code might live.
I’m not really a programmer, but I have been using WordPress long enough to be somewhat comfortable mucking about in template and PHP code. Any help would be much appreciated! I would think that there would be a plugin for this, but if there is I can’t find it.
Thanks in advance,
