Actual Site Not matching as per Customise CSS Live Preview

Hi again

So I thought I fixed the colour issue, and everything looks fine when I am customising CSS with Live Preview.

But when I go into site on a separate tab, or on the mobile, the colour of my site title and some post headers on pages are all #00bcd4. I’ve gone through all my CSS and there shouldn’t be anything different but perhaps I’ve missed something. Wondering if other people are seeing these discrepancies too.

I want the site title and post headers to be the default colours throughout all screen sizes.

Regarding the same topic of colour, can someone also help me with changing the Home button to the default colour as the others in my menu too? (but not on hover. I want this to remain as #00bcd4). This is a plug-in I’ve added so not sure whether to fix it on the actual plug-in CSS.

Also just noticed that the date is also showing #00bcd4. As with the Title and Post Headers, and menu, I’d like this to be the default colours of the theme …but all hovers to be #00bcd4.

Hi there,

Could you provide the color value that you want to use for the non-hover look?

Are you wanting to use the orange color from the theme demo, or the dark color shown on the post title here?

Yes I’m after the dark grey we see as default for site title and post titles.

Post dates should also be the light grey default colour.

So on category views, your post titles match the theme’s default:

To change this to make them darker, you can use the following:
```
.entry-title a, .portfolio-entry-title a {
  color: #333;
}
```
The site title is already this color when it hasn’t been clicked.

the Home button to the default colour

Your home button currently matches the light grey of the demo:

If you want the date the light grey color, you can use this:

So strange that it appears blue/green on my end. But I did check on a public computer and it looks fine. Thanks for helping…again!
