Hi. I just performed a search and replace and I think I was using this plugin (called “searchreplace” in WP plugins–please tell me if this was not the same plugin–maybe yours wouldn’t have this problem).
So I performed the search / replace and thought it worked great. When I viewed page, all of the terms had been replaced (new terms were visible when viewing page). But when I went to “edit page”–the backend showed the original terms (so those terms were not actually replaced). This gives me a HUGE concern about this plugin bc I don’t know what the Google algorithms will see–and the replaced terms are the keywords so this will not work for me.
Was I doing something wrong? Or was this a different plugin? Or is there any way to make this plugin replace the actual content, so that when I go to edit, I see the new terms on the backend/edit page version of the page?
Gosh I hope this will work on the backend bc this plugin would help me so much. Thank you!
