ActivityPub & NGINX

Hi, my site is hosted by a company which uses NGINX.

After trying some things, I get the message: Your WebFinger endpoint https://www.living-free.de/.well-known/webfinger?resource=acct:stefano@www.living-free.de does not return valid JSON for application/jrd+json.

The hosting company tried to add a specific NGINX rule, but did not succeed.

I suggested:

But the hosting company answered:

Those posts suggest adding a rule that affects all of /.well-known. We cannot do this because that folder isn’t exclusive to the plugin.

I’ve tried adding it but specific to .well-known/webfinger – But when adding that, then the URL you provided simply returns a 404 error and doesn’t show any relevant data like it did with the redirection we added previously, so I would suggest going back to the plugin developer to see what they have to suggest from their side.

Is there any chance to get the activity pub plugin running in my environment?
