# Activity emails: how to turn off programatically?

 * I manage upwards of 150 websites. With the new addition of Wordfence activity
   emails — and the fact that they’re enabled by default — I’m getting upwards of
   150 extra emails a week that I don’t need. What’s the quick and easy way to disable
   this via PHP? I use ManageWP so with a line of code (e.g. via the update_option
   function) I could turn this off on all websites at once. Otherwise, I’m going
   to have to go into every website to disable them manually. Of course I could 
   setup an email filter, but I’d rather just disable them. Thanks.

 * I was here to post a complaint about this. It’s a wonderful feature however I
   feel it’s abusive to have it automatically enabled, along with displaying in 
   the report widget in the dashboard. I use InfiniteWP to manage only about 50 
   sites but I’m not happy about the flood of emails or about having to go in and
   manually disable these “features” on 50+ sites.

 * You can turn off the notifications by going to Wordfence > Options. Scroll the
   page past “Advanced Options” and there is a section titled “Email Summary”. Uncheck
   the “Enable email summary” box, and that should disable them.

   so.

 * Tim — thanks for the info. However I don’t see that this has been resolved. I
   updated to 5.3.12 and the “Enable email summary” box is still checked.
