 * Hi,
 * We are using this plugin for past 40+ days. Before that we were using Adrotate
   for about 10 months. Active view ratio on adrotate was about 65 to 67. But since
   we came on advanced ads active view ratio is now 52 to 54. Largely user and geo
   remain the same. Server speed remain the same.
 * Can you please suggest us thing in advanced ads plugin which can cause that kind
   of behavior?

 * Hi fropki,
 * thanks for reaching out.
 * Are you using any add-ons for Advanced Ads?
 * If not, my other suspicion is that delivery might have changed slightly. E.g.,
   more impressions served on mobile than before, where ads are easily below the
   fold.
 * Happy to take a look at your ad setup if you provide me with the information.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi Thomas Maier,
 * We are currently using free advanced ads plugin (if paid version can solve this
   issue we can purchase that as well).
 * We do not use placement, we just use Ad unit and hard code them in topics.
 * There is almost no change in user geo location and device. Getting almost same%
   of traffic though active view ratio is really less between two plugins.
 * We can not give login info for our blog as we are behind a firewall. We can give
   remote access to our pc using team viewer if u need to test some of the things
   on our blog.

    Rahul

 * Hi Rahul,
 * thanks for your feedback.
 * You don’t need to use an add-on or send me a login.
 * Your site is not accessible, right? What ads are you using and how do you measure
   active views? I was assuming AdSense, but they are not allowed behind firewalls,
   so it must be something else.
 * Did you use any conditions for ads before or after the change?
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi Thomas Maier,
 * I was saying my login info is behind firewall. Website is available to General
   public. What do u mean by condition like based on device?
 * We are serving same ad content and same old ad placement.

 * We use Google Adx ads. Serving them using advanced ads right now.

 * Hi Fropky,
 * > What do u mean by condition like based on device?
 * AdRotate and Advanced Ads have conditions for which page should show an ad or
   which user should see it.
 * Options like showing a specific ad on mobile or desktop only could look the same
   for users, but work differently with each plugin. That could have an impact even
   when using the same positions.
 * The same accounts for detecting bots, injecting ads automatically on specific
   conditions, etc.
 * So whatever additional settings you are using, it might help to narrow it down.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Thomas Maier,
 * We do not use any condition like a certain ads should show on desktop or on mobile.
   There is only 1 ad which show on desktop but not on mobile (but we use CSS to
   hide that ad and do not use plugin option for that thing).
 * We do not filter ads for bot and do not inject ads on specific condition as well.
   We keep things as default as possible.

 * Hi Rahul,
 * thanks again for your feedback.
 * I don’t think there is something very critical wrong, because ads are still showing
   up. Of course, there might still be a subtle difference between Advanced Ads
   and AdRotate that I am missing right now.
 * Did the change appear on the same day you installed Advanced Ads or is it possible
   that this is just a coincidence and the numbers naturally moved in this direction?
 * Are you using any of our add-ons?
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi Thomas Maier,
 * Not suddenly but within 7-10 days active ratio have fallen from 64-68 to 53-55.

 * Thank you. It could be a seasonal thing as well then. Before hunting something
   down within Advanced Ads that might not be there, would it be possible for you
   to either run both plugins at the same time or switch back to AdRotate for a
   few days?
 * Thanks,
    Thomas
