"Active Slide" Not Appearing in Pager Thumbnails

I have been successfully updating my website using this great plugin. But suddenly I’m having problems with the bottom pager images not showing the ‘active slide’ with a different opacity. The first slide shows correctly, subsequent slides remain lighter.
The slideshows I loaded earlier seem to be fine, and the problem seems intermittent.
My theme is a heavily modified WPFolio and I have minimal plugins.
