# Active Button Effect

 * Hi, I have one question. I use Max-Buttons with the hover effect. Is it also 
   possible to create an “active effect”? So if I have clicked on the Button eg.
   Home, this button should be another color than the one with hover or the normal
   look. Can anybody help me?

 * At the moment we don’t support the ‘active’ effect, but it’s also a misunderstood
   property. ‘Active’ only happens when you -click- on a link and is visible very
   shortly .
 * I guess what you want to do is to have a different button on every page to reflect
   navigation. The easiest to do is to have a different version of the button ready
   and put them only on the page that is active.
 * Otherwise you’ll need to use WordPress templating functions to detect on which
   page you are and change the loaded buttons in this way. This differs on every
   theme however.
