Hi, I just updated to version 2.12, and on activation of the plugin it is giving me this error message:

Hi Dan, thanks for reporting this.

It’s the conflict with other part of your website. Someone is also using the DI52 Container library with Composer, but he uses the older version.

Please, could you provide a list of all plugins activated on your site?

That’s a lot of plugins! I checked each and every one of them (well, free one) and found nothing. None of these plugins are using DI52 container lib or I’m missing something.

Or maybe you have some custom theme that utilizes this lib?

This is the moment when after 20 minutes of code review I’m finding the hint in the error you posted above…

It’s The Events Calendar plugin. I already posted a message on their support forums:

I have the same problem and the conflict is triggered by The Events Calendar (I don’t have the Pro version). Does this help to resolve the problem?

    Hi @sabinevi,

thanks for your message. Unfortunately, it’s not helping. They just have to update the library.

I am having the same problem here too. Shame looks like this would be a useful plugin…

@p10design, @sabinevi, @n1fdadmin I came to the conclusion it’s without any sense to waste time and wait for them for an update. I moved to better Container, in my own namespace so it will not collide with anything anymore.

Version 2.2.0 has been released just now.

Thank you very much Kuba, it works! I just donated a small amount to keep you going with the good work.

Thanks @sabinevi! I just noticed that I had so old donation link that it’s not valid anymore… you can use this one – much appreciated!

Check! Cancelled the payment and used the provided link for a new payment. Enjoy!

I’m speechless! Check you email 🙂
