Activation produces error

    Just an FYI, tried to install your plugin but it produces this error upon activation attempts:

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/awesome-timeline/admin/includes/class-announcement.php on line 236

    I’ve tested this and it activates fine in latest WP version. Could you please let me know below:

    1. Which WP version do you have?

    Hi Simco,

    Could you please let me know your PHP version too, I suspect it would be older than PHP 5.5?

    PHP Version 5.4.42
    MySQL Version 5.6.34
    WordPress Version 4.6.1

    I’ve tested on below and could not reproduce this issue. I can check offline. Write to nitesh[at]auctionplugin[dot]net.

    PHP: 5.6
    MySQL: 5.6
    WP: 4.6.1
