Activation of WooCommerce plugin takes whole site offline

After testing an order with TWINT payment option, WooCommerce plugin gets deactivated and cannot be reactivated, because the whole site gets down when doing so.
We don’t receive any recovery e-mail from WordPress.
Is there any way to reactivate the plugin without deleting and reinstall it?
We don’t want to start over with all our products and settings…Regards,
