Activation of plugin changes index page

Hello,
My website is http://www.riseupchamps.com . I use the WordPress theme, Resportsive. Each time I try to activate the Youtube Embed Plugin, the main featured slider images on my homepage disappear. I would like to use this plugin, but so far, I’ve been unable to.
