Activation of Adshares plugin breaks Matomo Analytics?

    When I activate the Adshares plugin, some sections of Matomo stop working and return an error. For example the “reporting” section:

    An error occurred
    Unknown “apply” tag.

    If Adshares is deactivated, everything goes back to normal.
    Now, maybe it’s Matomo’s fault, I don’t know. If this is the case, I will post on their plugin support forum. Please advise. Thanks.

    According to Matomo:

    The problem is this plugin (Note: Adshares) embed an old version of a component which is incompatible with matomo

    the old component is twig.
