    Hi,
I have WooCommerce installed in a multisite installation, and it’s operational in various websites.
Activated the plugin for another website, and it started asking me a whole lot of questions about the shop. At certain stage it told me that various plugins like jetpack would be installed. I don’t want that, so I cancelled.

Now the admin area of the website doesn’t respond to anything else than showing the WooCommerce “Your Store Today” page. Even the Dashboard leads to nowhere else.
    Complete admin area inaccessible. Thanks!!

Why on earth does activating this plugin bring in such a mess??

Hope support is better than what I’ve seen so far from the plugin…

  • Hello,

For clarity, please check this related thread:

Jetpack was installed – is it necessary?

In order to help you further, please share a copy of your site’s System Status, You can locate it under WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

We’ll look forward to hearing from you.

I have no idea what happened, but now for some reason the admin area is back responding to the options I select. So my main problem seems gone.

Leaves that I think the activation process is ridiculous. Be open upfront that this all leads to installation of other plugins, too, don’t leave that to step 7 / last step.
