• Hi
I purchased Proshop child theme for Storefront and when I activate it – Storefront is automatically deactivated.

I have connected with Woocommerce.com My Account and added the key for proshop but it still doesn’t appear to work correctly.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Jenny

    Hello

When I fetch in Google search console it only fetches partial pages and states that it can’t access the new pages. Although I have only just started re-designing this website it appears that it will not show the theme on the homepage. If I go to ‘shop’ it shows the new heading and products etc. The ‘home’ page is called Craft Blanks and the Homepage templates has been selected.

    website is http://woodencraftsshapesandboxes.co.uk

I have deleted all old plugins and themes and installed plugins basically as a new site – although I updated WordPress to the latest version I am unsure if it is the big changes in ecommerce/theme plugins that is causing the problem.

    Hey,

It looks like your ‘shop’ is a totally separate WordPress installation to the rest of your site?

    Hi James

Do you know anybody that could help me sort this? I have ticketed Woocommerce and It is not a woocommerce problem or a hosting problem and I I don’t know what I can do to put it right.

    Hi Jenny,

Like I said, it looks like you have two WordPress installations running, one of which is in the shop directory. I’m guessing that isn’t your intention.

I’d recommend speaking to your host to see if they can help you resolve this. Otherwise a developer will be your best bet if you’re unsure how to proceed. This isn’t really something anyone will be able to help you with on the forums as they’d need access to your server etc.

If you’d like a WooCommerce specific developer I’d recommend looking here as a starting point.

All sorted, had to do a clean install of WordPress and start again.

    Thanks for your help.

    You’re welcome.
