 * I downloaded and installed bbPress, but when I tried to activate it I got this
   error message:-
 * “You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your
MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘TYPE=MyISAM’ at line 9
   on line: 1471”
 * After consulting my host, who suggested reading [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-activate-plugin-2?replies=6](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-activate-plugin-2?replies=6),
I tried deactivating bbPress and WordPress Automatic Upgrade; but they seem to
be still active. On attempting to delete bbPress with a view to reinstalling
it, a message appears at the top of the Dashboard:-
 * “You cannot delete a plugin while it is active on the main site.”
 * Suggestions please. The site is [http://www.greenfriends.org.uk](http://www.greenfriends.org.uk),
using WP v.3.8; but there is nothing of bbPress to see there until I can successfully
activate it and Forums show up on the Dashboard.
