Activated new theme and lost my website

I recently purchased a new WP theme from ThemeForest and once I activated it I lost my website. All that is being returned is a blank white page and an HTTP error 500. I can’t access any of my site’s information on my dashboard, it keeps saying “make sure Jetpack is up to date” but when I try to click on the link to update it I keep getting the same blank white page. Help, I have no idea what’s going on??
